Delta Force Paintball Action

Kids Paintball

Kids Paintball

We host action-packed paintballing days for 14-17 year olds – these make excellent birthday paintball parties, family trips, school outings and fun days out. Groups of any size are very welcome and all children are carefully supervised throughout the day. Delta Force Paintball has an outstanding safety record and reputation for organising great days out for guests of all ages.

Registration forms are completed by every player on arrival, and parental consent forms must also be completed by players younger than 18. Delta Force Frontier staff will be on hand to help, but parents and/or teachers may find it saves time to download the parental consent forms from this website, and pre-complete them.

The Centre Manager will summon everyone to the stage when it's time for the safety presentation. It may be that your child feels at this point that they've been drafted into the army - and that's not a bad thing. We require all children to pay very close attention the safety speech; it is at this time that the Centre Manager will clearly explain the safety regulations, the rules of the game, and how to use the equipment. The Centre Manager delivers the speech from a stage, whilst Senior Marshals patrol the outer edge of the audience ensuring that everyone is paying attention. Parents often comment that Delta Force Frontier has a far greater awareness of safety than other paintball operators they have visited in the past.

How many paintballs do players need? This is a very common question – and there is no easy answer. It simply depends how many times the player chooses to pull the trigger, and how much the bill-payer wants to indulge him/her. The average use across the entire the company (by Juniors and Adults) is 400-500 paintballs per person per day – children generally use fewer paintballs than adults. Parents should decide their budget, and make their selection of package accordingly. It is recommended that children attending birthday parties be advised to bring a bit of pocket money along if they wish to buy extra ammo over-and-above that provided for in the package. Extra paintballs can be purchased at any time during the day.

All Delta Force Frontier paintball centres offer a hot pizza lunch (vegetarian options are also available), freshly prepared offsite by a local catering company for €5.99 per person. The 9 inch pizzas can be ordered on the day or pre-ordered at the time of booking your paintball event. There is also a wide selection of snacks such as crisps, chocolates, sweets and cold drinks available for purchase from our on-site shop. Lunch breaks usually last about half an hour and are followed by another six games of high-adrenaline paintball games and then the day ends with a prize giving ceremony at which the scores are reviewed and certificates are awarded to the winning team and to the runners-up.

What do I need to bring on the day?

Players should wear old, comfortable clothing and may also want to bring a change of clothes for the conclusion of the game. We strongly recommend boots with ankle support and deep tread/rubber soles - it can be muddy, wet and slippery in the woodlands. Paintball gloves are available to buy at the centre, or you can bring your own. You may also want to bring some money for purchasing additional paintballs (we accept cash and credit/debit cards verified by PIN only)

Can I bring my own paintball equipment?

You can bring your own paintball equipment, but it is always at the discretion of the Centre Manager as to whether you can use it. You can bring your own combat gear, paintball goggles, body armour, gloves and other paintball accessories, however due to health and safety regulations you are not allowed to bring your own paintball gun or gas cylinder to the centre.

Is paintball suitable for children?

Parents need to know about the nature of the activity and decide for themselves whether their particular child is hardy and mature enough to participate in this type of activity. To help you with this, we have compiled an "Information to Parents" guide, which can be included in your information pack or requested from our friendly staff by calling 1800 246 200 (Calls are charged at Lo-Call Rate). To make paintball more appropriate for children, Delta Force Ireland offer full face helmets, full-length ninja suits and body armour as standard, with padded gloves available for purchase for additional protection.

How do I book a day of paintball?

To book, all you need to do is call us on 1800 246 200 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) and speak to one of our friendly operators to check availability and book your event, alternatively you can email us and we will call you straight back or you can ask us to call you at a particular time, or complete the online booking enquiry form. Another option is to drop in to your nearest Delta Force Paintball centre and speak to the manager at the centre. Please note: it is essential you call in advance and make an appointment to visit your preferred centre.

(1) All prices quoted are for payments made in person (at a paintball centre). Payments made this way are final and cannot be altered or amended in any way – meaning that once paid you will not be able to change the date of your booking and if any member of your party is unable to attend on the date of your booking then that payment is forfeited. Payments made over the phone to the advice centre attract a service fee of 5.99% - and mean that your booking can be changed to another date if you wish (subject to availability), that credits will be given in respect of any players failing to attend the event, and that these players may attend a game on a date of your choosing in the future without further payment (again, subject to availability). Please also note that cash payments are free of transaction fees and can be tendered at any of Delta Force’s 30 paintball centres in the UK, and in accordance with the Consumer Rights (Payments Surcharge) Regulations 2012 the fees for processing debit cards are 53p per transaction and for credit cards 2.32% - these fees reflect the company’s actual costs in processing card transactions – for further details please see our FAQ page and our Legal page.
