Q: What do I need to bring on the day? Read answer

Players should wear old, comfortable clothing and may also want to bring a change of clothes for the conclusion of the game. We strongly recommend boots with ankle support and deep tread/rubber soles – it can be muddy, wet and slippery in the woodlands. Paintball gloves are available to buy at the centre, or you can bring your own. You may also want to bring some money for purchasing additional paintballs (we accept cash and credit/debit cards verified by PIN only)

Q: Can I bring my own paintball equipment? Read answer

You can bring your own paintball equipment, but it is always at the discretion of the Centre Manager as to whether you can use it. You can bring your own combat gear, paintball goggles, body armour, gloves and other paintball accessories, however due to health and safety regulations you are not allowed to bring your own paintball gun or gas cylinder to the centre.

Q: Can I bring my own paintballs? Read answer

Just like you can’t take your own alcohol to a pub, you cannot bring your own paintballs to the centre. For us to maintain a consistent safety standard, you can only use paintballs issued by Delta Force Frontier Paintball on the day of your event.

Q: How many paintballs will I need? Read answer

There is no way of knowing how many paintballs any individual will use, as it depends on how trigger happy you are. It is entirely up to each person how much he or she wants to spend. The average use across the entire the company (by Juniors and Adults) is 400-500 paintballs per person per day. You can purchase paintballs at the centre throughout the day, during the breaks between games from the on-site shop.

Q: How can I purchase additional items on the day? Read answer

Additional items such as paintballs, lunch, gloves and other paintball paraphernalia can be purchased from the on-site shop at national paintball centres via cash or card (verified by pin only). Please note we do not accept payment on site by cheque.

Q: Is paintball suitable for children? Read answer

Parents need to know about the nature of the activity and decide for themselves whether their particular child is hardy and mature enough to participate in this type of activity. To help you with this, we have compiled an “Information to Parents” guide, which can be included in your information pack or requested from our friendly staff by calling 1800 246 200 (Calls are charged at Lo-Call Rate). To make paintball more appropriate for children, Delta Force Ireland offer full face helmets, full-length ninja suits and body armour as standard, with padded gloves available for purchase for additional protection.

Q: What is the minimum age? Read answer

All Delta Force Frontier paintball centres offer a hot pizza lunch (vegetarian options are also available), freshly prepared offsite by a local catering company for €5.99 per person. The 9 inch pepperoni or margherita pizzas can be ordered on the day or pre-ordered at the time of booking your paintball event. Q: What happens on the day? Read answer

On arrival you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will check you in. After you have filled out registration forms, you will be issued with all necessary equipment for the sessions and will listen to our safety briefing. You will be given time to put your belongings away and purchase what you need from the on-site shop then the action starts! You will play 12-14 games during morning and afternoon sessions, with short breaks in between to reload your paintballs and discuss tactics!

Q: Do I need to fill out a registration form? Read answer

All players are required to complete a registration form before they begin play. Players under 18 years must have their Parental Consent Form signed by an adult. We suggest you download these from the website and send these out with your invitations. The other parents should return their completed Parental Consent Forms for you to bring to the paintball centre on the day of your event. Adult players can complete registration forms before the event or on arrival at the paintball centre. For players attending a local centre, you may need to complete different forms on arrival.

Q: How many players do I need to bring? Read answer

There is no minimum or maximum requirement; any numbers are fine (although we may require a minimum spend in order for the centre to open midweek). Groups of less than 20 will be joined with other players on the day to make up a team. To guarantee an exclusive game you need to make a booking of 40 or more players, or pay an additional fee.

Q: I’m not sure how many players I have, but I want to book now so that I don’t miss out on the date I want. What should I do? Read answer

You can make your booking now for the players that you have confirmed. You can then add additional players onto your booking up until a few days before your event.

Q: What do I do if I get lost trying to find the centre? Read answer

To avoid getting lost we suggest you make sure all drivers in your group print the directions from the website and take them with them. Directions are for guidance only, we recommend using a road map for more in-depth directions. If you do have trouble finding the centre, call us on 1800 246 200 (Calls are charged at Lo-Call Rate).

Q: What happens if it rains? Read answer

The games go ahead regardless of weather conditions. All the game zones are outdoors, but there are sheltered areas and lockers available to hire in the base camp where you can store your gear between games. In wet weather players may choose to wear a thin layer of waterproof clothing under the combait suit we issue you for the day. We advise players to bring a change of clothes in case game clothes get dirty or wet.

To book, all you need to do is call us on 1800 246 200 and speak to one of our friendly operators to check availability and book your event, alternatively you can email us and we will call you straight back or you can ask us to call you at a particular time, or complete the online booking enquiry. Please note: it is essential you call in advance and make an appointment to visit your preferred centre.

(1) All prices quoted are for payments made in person (at a paintball centre). Payments made this way are final and cannot be altered or amended in any way – meaning that once paid you will not be able to change the date of your booking and if any member of your party is unable to attend on the date of your booking then that payment is forfeited. Payments made over the phone to the advice centre attract a service fee of 6.99% – and mean that your booking can be changed to another date if you wish (subject to availability), that credits will be given in respect of any players failing to attend the event, and that these players may attend a game on a date of your choosing in the future without further payment (again, subject to availability).
