Delta Force Paintball Action

At the heart of every Delta Force Paintball Centre is a safe, comfortable and well equipped basecamp. Whether you need to relax from the heat of battle, or wait around for your troops to come back from combat, you can relax in basecamp. It's where you try on all your kit, leave your valuables in secure lockers, enjoy the lunch break, and where you can relax between games. The basecamps all have proper flushing toilets operating on mains water, and have covered and open air seating areas as well as lockers available (for a nominal hire charge) for the safe storage of car keys, mobile phones, wallets, jackets, paintballs and so on.

Hollywood movie set props

The basecamps at Delta Force Paintball Centres sport an amazing assortment of themed props. For example, we have recently purchased the only Scud missile in private hands in the UK – complete with a giant Soviet launch vehicle. The Scud has a celebrity provenance in that it appeared in the James Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies (featuring Pierce Brosnan) together with the convoy of trucks that form the 'Border Crossing' game zone at Delta Force Frontier in Berkshiresee game zones. We also house props taken straight from the sets of Casino Royale and Tom Cruise blockbuster Edge of Tomorrow.

Helicopters and Howitzers!

Another 'star-turn' is the crashed helicopter we purchased from the set of ITV's 'Silent Witness'. It greets players as they arrive at Delta Force Frontier in Surrey and usually causes quite a stir because it's wired for sound, contains a theatrical smoke-machine, and has a couple of skeleton pilots hanging out of the cockpit.

At Delta Force Frontier in Leeds the basecamp is dominated by another massive Soviet era missile on it's 1950's Red Army launch vehicle. This ensemble was formerly the personal plaything of a Soviet General who would sit astride the missile waving from it at the crowds during military parades. These days it is clambered all over by younger players, and employed in a predictable manner by Stag Parties looking for a humourous photo of the groom. We also have an immense armoury of howitzers and other artillery pieces. All of which are rendered entirely safe and unserviceable (lest anyone was thinking of pinching one to settle a few scores with the neighbours).

Basecamp shop

All Delta Force Paintball basecamps also feature a fully stocked shop (selling paintballs, armoured gloves, food and drinks) and from where our first aid certified staff will issue any plasters etc. that may be required. We offer a full range of refreshments, from energy drinks to sweets, crisps and chocolates. You will also find free tea and coffee facilities in every basecamp. Should your group wish to order hot pizzas please speak to a member of staff before 11am on the day.

What do I need to bring on the day?

Players should wear old, comfortable clothing and may also want to bring a change of clothes for the conclusion of the game. We strongly recommend boots with ankle support and deep tread/rubber soles - it can be muddy, wet and slippery in the woodlands. Paintball gloves are available to buy at the centre, or you can bring your own. You may also want to bring some money for purchasing additional paintballs (we accept cash and credit/debit cards verified by PIN only)

Can I bring my own paintball equipment?

You can bring your own paintball equipment, but it is always at the discretion of the Centre Manager as to whether you can use it. You can bring your own combat gear, paintball goggles, body armour, gloves and other paintball accessories, however due to health and safety regulations you are not allowed to bring your own paintball gun or gas cylinder to the centre.

How can I purchase additional items on the day?

Additional items such as paintballs, lunch, gloves and other paintball paraphernalia can be purchased from the on-site shop at national paintball centres via cash or card (verified by pin only). Please note we do not accept payment on site by cheque.

Is paintball suitable for children?

Parents need to know about the nature of the activity and decide for themselves whether their particular child is hardy and mature enough to participate in this type of activity. To help you with this, we have compiled an "Information to Parents" guide, which can be included in your information pack or requested from our friendly staff by calling 1800 246 200 (Calls are charged at Lo-Call Rate). To make paintball more appropriate for children, Delta Force Ireland offer full face helmets, full-length ninja suits and body armour as standard, with padded gloves available for purchase for additional protection.

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age to play paintball in Ireland is 14 years old. All players under 16 years old require a signed Parental Consent Form to participate. You can request a Parental Consent Form in advance by calling 1800 246 200.

Do I need to fill out a registration form?

All players are required to complete a registration form before they begin play. Players under 16 years must have their registration form signed by a parent/guardian. We suggest you download these from the website and send these out with your invitations. The other parents should return their completed forms for you to bring to the paintball centre on the day of your event. Adult players can complete registration forms before the event or on arrival at the paintball centre. For players attending a local centre, you may need to complete different forms on arrival.

How do I book a day of paintball?

To book, all you need to do is call us on 1800 246 200 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) and speak to one of our friendly operators to check availability and book your event, alternatively you can email us and we will call you straight back or you can ask us to call you at a particular time, or complete the online booking enquiry form. Another option is to drop in to your nearest Delta Force Paintball centre and speak to the manager at the centre. Please note: it is essential you call in advance and make an appointment to visit your preferred centre.
