Earlier this month a large group of coalition politicians arranged the ultimate battle out on our paintball centre in Bray, County Wicklow. There was a lot of heckling and boasting before the teams set foot on site, but it seemed that Labour’s team members had done the essential preparation and planning to out-smart the opposing Fine Gael team.

Both teams arrived on site early in anticipation of difficult competition from both sides, but it was the team of Labour warriors who rightfully earned the title in the end; they beat the Fine Gael opposition by a massive 50 points! It’s fair to say that there was some fine battle scenes played out over the variety of game zones at the paintball centre in Bray. Castle Wolfenstein was the site of one of the many impressive victories, with the Labour side strategically placing key players to defend the castle and protect the flag.
