What do I need to bring on the day?
Players should wear old, comfortable clothing and may also want to bring a change of clothes for the conclusion of the game. We strongly recommend boots with ankle support and deep tread/rubber soles - it can be muddy, wet and slippery in the woodlands. Paintball gloves are available to buy at the centre, or you can bring your own. You may also want to bring some money for purchasing additional paintballs (we accept cash and credit/debit cards verified by PIN only)
Can I bring my own paintball equipment?
You can bring your own paintball equipment, but it is always at the discretion of the Centre Manager as to whether you can use it. You can bring your own combat gear, paintball goggles, body armour, gloves, paintball gun and other paintball accessories, however due to health and safety regulations you are not allowed to bring your own gas cylinder to the site. The use of any paintball gun is subject to a chronograph test and inspection by the Centre Manager.
Can I bring my own paintballs?
Just like you can’t take your own alcohol to a pub, you cannot bring your own paintballs to the centre. For us to maintain a consistent safety standard, you can only use paintballs issued by Delta Force Frontier on the day of your event.
How many paintballs will I need?
There is no way of knowing how many paintballs any individual will use, as it depends on how trigger happy you are. It is entirely up to each person how much he or she wants to spend. You can purchase paintballs at the centre throughout the day during the breaks between games from the on-site shop.
How can I purchase additional items on the day?
Additional items such as paintballs, lunch, gloves and other paintball paraphernalia can be purchased from the on-site shop at national paintball centres via cash or card (verified by pin only). Please note we do not accept payment on site by cheque. The use of credit and debit cards incurs a processing fee, which is 4% for credit cards and 2% for debit cards.
Is paintball suitable for children?
Parents need to know about the nature of the activity and decide for themselves whether their particular child is hardy, and mature enough to participate in this type of activity. To help you with this, we have compiled an "Information to Parents" guide, which can be included in your information pack or requested from our friendly staff by calling 1800 246 200 (Calls are charged at Lo-Call Rate). To make paintball more appropriate for children, Delta Force Frontier offer full head helmets, full-length ninja suits and body armour as standard, with padded gloves available for purchase for additional protection.
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age to play paintball in Ireland is 14 years old. All players under 18 years old require a signed Parental Consent Form to participate.
You can request a Parental Consent Form in advance by calling 1800 246 200.
What food and drink is available at the centre?
All Delta Force Frontier Paintball centres offer a hamburger lunch (vegetarian options are also available), freshly prepared offsite by a local catering company for €5.99. The hamburgers can be ordered on the day or pre-ordered when at the time of booking your paintball event. There is also a snack shop on site where you can purchase chocolates, drinks, crisps and other refreshments. For lunch options at local centres, please call our booking office on 1800 246 200.
Can we bring alcohol to the centre?
No alcohol is permitted at the paintball centre. Any players who have been drinking or are found to be under the influence of any illegal substance will be excluded from the games for their own safety and for the safety of our other guests.
What happens on the day?
On arrival you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will check you in. After you have filled out registration forms, you will be issued with all necessary equipment for the day and will listen to our safety briefing. You will be given time to put your belongings away and purchase what you need from the on-site shop then the action starts! You will play 10-12 games during a full day session, with short breaks in between to reload your paintballs and discuss tactics!
Do I need to fill out a registration form?
All players are required to complete a registration form before they begin play. Players under 18 years must have their Parental Consent Form signed by an adult. We suggest you download these from the website and send these out with your invitations. The other parents should return their completed Parental Consent Forms for you to bring to the paintball centre on the day of your event. Adult players can complete registration forms on arrival at the paintball centre.
How many players do I need to bring?
There is no minimum or maximum requirement; any numbers are fine (although we may require a minimum of 20 players for a mid week game). Groups of less than 20 will be joined with other players on the day to make up a team. To guarantee an exclusive game you need to make a booking of 40+.
I’m not sure how many players I have, but I want to book now so that I don’t miss out on the date I want. What should I do?
You can make your booking now for the players that you have confirmed. You can then add additional players onto your booking up until a few days before your event.
What do I do if I get lost trying to find the centre?
To avoid getting lost we suggest you make sure all drivers in your group print the directions from the website and take them with them. Directions are for guidance only, we recommend using a road map for more in-depth directions. If you do have trouble finding the centre, call us on 1800 246 200 (Calls are charged at Lo-Call Rate).
What happens if it rains?
The games go ahead regardless of weather conditions. All the game zones are outdoors, but there are sheltered areas in the base camp where you can go between games. We advise players to bring a change of clothes in case game clothes get dirty or wet.
What times can we play?
A full day of paintball action starts at 9:15am and finishes at approximately 4:00-4:30pm.
Please note: Times are approximate and given for guidance only. During the winter months departure is more likely to be by 3.30pm.
What happens if a player does not turn up on the day and I have already paid for them?
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, credits can be carried forward and used for a future visit.
Can I use the paintballs if a player does not turn up on the day and I have already paid for them?
Unfortunately not. If anyone fails to attend the event on the date you have booked, the prepayment and paintballs for that person will be forfeited. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, however credits can be carried forward and used for a future visit.
